ADAU1401 is a complete single chip audio system, built-in 28/56 bit audio DSP, ADC, DAC and similar micro controller control interface.Signal processing techniques include equalization, frequency division, bass enhancement, multi band dynamic processing, delay compensation, loudspeaker compensation and stereo sound image widening, which can be used to make up the actual limitations of loudspeaker, amplifier and audio-visual environment, thus improving the quality of sound quality.

This signal processing technology is comparable to the technology used in high-end studio equipment. Most of the processing is done in a fully 56 bit dual precision mode, so the low level signal performance is excellent. ADAU1401 is a fully programmable DSP. With the help of easy to use SigmaStudio software, users can use the dual two order filter, dynamic processor, level control and GPIO interface control modules to configure the custom signal processing process in a graphical way.

The ADAU1401 program can be loaded from serial EEPROM on its own boot mechanism or loaded from an external microcontroller when it is powered up. When you turn off, you can write the current state of the parameter from ADAU1401 to EEPROM so that it can be called again next time the program is run.

Two ADC and four DAC provide 98.5 dB analog input to analog output dynamic range. Using digital input and output ports, it can be seamlessly connected to other ADC and DAC. ADAU1401 passes through I2C bus or four line SPI port for communication.

This edition is suitable for ADAU1401/1701/1702 learning and product use. ADAU1401 is more stable than ADAU1701 in the bad working environment of -40 degree -105 (ADAU1701 is generally 0-70 degrees). The program can be used and the other indexes are the same. With power on self starting, it can run independently from SCM. The whole function port is derived, which can extend the digital I2S input / output / key function, /LED driver / auxiliary ADC (potentiometer simulation) / encoder volume adjustment.

It provides schematic diagram and many routines, and a preset program of feedback inhibition by default shipment. It can be changed to its own function at any time.
